GMDSS Long Range Certificate and Exam

The Long Range Certificate is required for operations on all marine frequencies (SSB, VHF and Inmarsat) from a leisure craft or non-SOLAS vessel.
International recognised MCA approved course & exam.
Covers marine GMDSS operation and procedures.
Usage and operation of VHF, SSB, DSC & Inmarsat equipment.
Wide range of equipment used including two ICOM M801E SSB transceiver.

The Short Range Certificate (SRC) is an RYA approved VHF course.
The Long Range Certificate (LRC) is an AMERC course and approved by the MCA.
Both the SRC and LRC are not STCW certified.

Small craft radar course for seafarers that want to know about the magic of radar.
RYA approved radar course.
Covers marine radar operation and collision avoidance including MARPA and AIS.
