GMDSS Long Range Certificate and Exam

The Long Range Certificate is required for operations on all marine frequencies (SSB, VHF and Inmarsat) from a leisure craft or non-SOLAS vessel.

International recognised MCA approved course & exam.

Covers marine GMDSS VHF, SSB, DSC & Inmarsat operation and procedures.

Wide range of equipment used including two ICOM M801E SSB transceiver.

Targeted towards Offshore, Ocean and Bluewater yachtsmen.

Course duration including exam; either 2 days with on-line e-study or 4 days

4 Day course

Duration 4 days at YachtCom training studio.

Covers practical use of SSB, VHF & DSC equipment.
