how to use it. This course will teach you how to get the best out of your
radar unit.

At YachtCom we have a real Raymarine C120 navigation
display unit which is used during the radar course.
We are familiar with
the Raymarine (Raytheon) Pathfinder SL70 and C/E-Series of Radar, and the JRC
Radar 1000.
What to bring If students have another type of
Radar fitted to their yachts they are encouraged to bring along the
manual. |
Course location:
The course takes place in our permanently equipped training studio at Lowford,
Bursledon, Hampshire, close to the River Hamble.

Bob Smith, who is a
keen sailor with his own 32 foot sailing yacht. Bob has logged 1000s of sea
miles in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and North European waters. Bob has a
technical background in radio communications and has a full UK radio amateur
radio licence.
